Through the donations of Western Union, its employees, Agents and friends, the Western Union Foundation helps to fund programs that promote education and create economic opportunity around the world.
Employee Giving — Every year, the Western Union Foundation holds an employee giving campaign, encouraging employees around the world to give to the Foundation to support our work. Employee donations to the Foundation are matched by Western Union 2:1 for employees in the U.S. and 3:1 for employees outside of the U.S., significantly increasing the impact of every dollar donated by employees.
Employee Gift Match — In the U.S., personal donations to a qualified nonprofit organization are matched1:1, up to $25,000, essentially doubling the impact on the communities where employees live and work.
