Community involvement is an important value at Western Union. Together, Western Union and the Western Union Foundation have put together some special programs to help support and encourage our employees to give back to their community.
Through the Western Union Foundation Employee Gift Matching Program, when employees give to a qualified, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the Foundation will match that donation $1 for $1, up to $25,000 within the calendar year, essentially doubling the impact!
When an employee tracks 50 hours of volunteer service to a qualified 501(c)(3) non-profit organization within the same calendar year, the Western Union Foundation will award a $500 donation to the organization.
Every year, many Western Union employees donate their time to help improve the lives of others. Each calendar year, employees in the U.S. are eligible to take a paid day-off to volunteer for a qualified 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
